For Sega fans in the late 1980s, Alex Kidd was a household name. He was even seen as being Sega’s mascot, often included as a built-in title on the Sega Master System. That is until a certain speedy blue hedgehog came and stole his crown.

Although Alex Kidd hasn’t starred in a new title since 1990, his first outing Alex Kidd in Miracle World is still often remembered fondly by gamers.
Now Alex Kidd is coming to the Nintendo Switch as part of the Sega Ages collection. Giving both newcomers and old fans alike the chance to experience Alex’s adventures on a modern platform.
The release will come with some modern improvements, including the ability to rewind time – handy for fixing those platforming mistakes.
You can pick up Alex Kidd in Miracle world from the Nintendo eShop when it releases 28th March 2019.
